OUR HISTORY

From our origins to the present day

On January 28, 1889, Juan Evangelista de Simoni established his first stockbroker’s office, without imagining the transcendence and projection it would have.

In 1913, Juan Carlos de Simoni and Antonio Piaggio became partners, and the firm began to operate under its current name De Simoni & Piaggio. Then the decades go by and old qualified employees become part of the company.

Thus, in 1970, the company became integrated by Carlos Cabral de Simoni, a descendant of the first members of the firm. At that time, the company not only engaged in the stock exchange and foreign exchange business, but also in foreign trade.

They can assure without a doubt that it was one of the oldest exchange bureaus in the country with more than forty direct lines, thus connecting the supply and demand of banks and exchange bureaus in the market.

This century-old company faces the future with renewed strength and a vocation for information and advice, which have always been its usual characteristics.

Today, the fifth generation of the De Simoni family continues.
